Welcome

Acacia Care Home accommodates elderly residents with twelve single rooms and one shared room.  There are gardens front and back.  There is wheelchair access throughout the building and gardens.  There is a stair lift.

Residents may bring their own furniture if they wish.  There are telephone and television points in all rooms.

As a resident coming into our care home, we extend a warm welcome.  We shall do our best to ensure that you are well provided for, your particular needs are met and your health and safety are safeguarded.

In matters relating to your health and welfare we shall consult with you and/or your family or adviser in accordance with your wishes.

The care home is run as a mature family community and as a member of that community you will enjoy rights to privacy and independence while obtaining such help as you require to preserve and improve your quality of life.  Care needs differ with each individual and it is our objective to work with you to identify your care needs and to provide care and support to meet these needs.

When people have worked hard throughout their life and have committed to helping others, we think they deserve extra cherishing.  They need a home where individuality is emphasised, with staff who have time to give attention to small detail and where they have choice of enjoying the company of like-minded residents:

  Enabling the resident to realise their own aims and helping them to achieve these goals in all aspects of daily living.
